ADELE'S '25' ON A LEAGUE OF ITS OWN

Adele's 25 is on a league of its own. In the fifth week at retail the Album' moved another unbelievable 2,505,000 copies, the second best result after its initial week. In the United States the album sold 1,16 million last week, in United Kingdom 449,900, in France 182,300, in Germany estimated 160,000, in Canada 152,800, and in Australia 91,100. The Album had already sold over 14 million copies by christmas. It is the superior winner on the Year-End Chart 2015!
Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' is in vice-position with sales of 459,000, a total of 2,673,000 after six weeks.
Coldplay's 'A Head Full Of Dreams' slips to no.3 with 432,000 copies, and a total of 1,654,000 after three weeks at retail.
The Highest debut was Chris Brown's 'Royalty', which jumped to no.4 after selling 224,000 copies, 161,600 of it in the United States alone.
German Superstar Helene Fischer closed the Top 5 with 'Weihnachten' after moving another 207,000 units last week, a total of nearly 900,000 in only six weeks. Her Album is No.1 in Germany and Austria and is one of the fastest selling albums of all time in the German-speaking territories. Helene's previous top selling LP 'Farbenspiel' is still No.8 this week in the Official Top 10 in Germany and No.7 in Austria with total sales of 2,545,000 since its release on October 4, 2013!
