Amercan Rapper Young Thug tops the Global Album Chart with his brand new Album 'So Much Fun' and equivalent sales of 159,000 in its 1st week!

Amercan Rapper Young Thug tops the Global Album Chart with his brand new Album 'So Much Fun' after shifting 159.000 equivalent sales this past week of which, 131,000 of which was from the United States, 8,000 from Canada and nearly 5,000 from the UK. The Album features lead single “The London” with Travis Scott and J. Cole, plus collaborations with 21 Savage, Juice Wrld, Gunna, and more. It’s his first release since the 'On the Rvn EP' last September. Young Thug featured earlier this year on Post Malone’s “Goodbyes” and on a Remix of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” with Walmart yodeling kid Mason Ramsey. Thug says his Album is all about fun: "If you not havin’ fun or in a fun mood, don’t even play the album.” he advises.

 

Ed Sheeran’s 'No.6 Collaborations Project' holds at #2 after selling another 126,000 sales and a total of 1,371,000 so far. Meanwhile Ed's previous top-selling Album 'Divide' surpasses sales of 15 million. It's the 3rd album this decade to surpass sales of over 15 million, following Adele's '21' and '25' which have sold 29,702,000 and 22,095,000 units respectively. 

 

'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ by Billie Eilish, rebounds to #3 on the Global weekly chart with 86,000 sales and a total of 3,052,000 so far, 2nd only to 'Map Of The Soul: Persona’ by BTS on the year end list who lead with 3,990,000 sales. 

 

Last week's #1, Slipknot's 'We Are Not Your Kind' dips 1 - 4 after selling another 77.000 units and a total of 318.000 in the last 2 weeks.

 

New entry at #5 for Motown's 'Quality Control: Control The Streets 2' by Various Artists after selling 71.000 units while Lionel Richie debuts at #6 with his latest Album 'Hello From Las Vegas' and 65.000 sales.

 

Japanese Stae Endrecheri’s 'Naralien' debuts at #7 with sales of 61.000 while KIllswitch Engage’s 'Atonement' lands at #8 after selling 45.000 equivalent units.

 

Lizzo’s  'Cuz I Love You' enters the top 10 at #9 after selling 41.000 this past week and 613.000 so far, and closing this week's Global Top 10 Albums chart is Chris Brown's 'Indigo' which slips 6 - 10 after selling another 41.000 and 505.000 so far!
