Former chart topper, Lin-Manuel Miranda's hugely successful soundtrack Disney Encanto rebounds 4-1 on the United World Chart for a 7th non-consecutive week with 88,000 equivalent sales and 2.075.000 sold since its release! it's the most successful album this year, and leads the year-to-date list with 1,984,000 sales! Released by Walt Disney Records on November 19, 2021, the album contains 8 original songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and produced by Mike Elizondo, and recorded by various singers, with 27 score pieces composed by Germaine Franco. It has been released in 44 languages, other than English and Spanish! The soundtrack album was a huge commercial success, and topped the Billboard 200 chart for 9 weeks. The album also hit #1 in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, and was a top ten hit in various other territories. 'Encanto' is the first Disney animated film in history to generate multiple top-10 Hot 100 entries. "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the album's most successful track, topping the UK Singles and the US Hot 100 charts for multiple weeks!


Former #1, Olivia Rodrigo's 'Sour', climbs 5-2 on the United World Chart after selling another 87,000 units and 5.212 Million in its 43rd week since its release on May 21, 2021, via Geffen Records. The album was written by Rodrigo and her producer Dan Nigro. Originally planned as an EP, it became a full-length album following the viral success of Olivia's debut smash hit "drivers license". Rodrigo is the 1st artist in history to debut her first 3 singles in the top 10 of the US Hot 100, and 'SOUR' is the 1st debut album in history to spawn 2x #1 debuts on the chart! The album broke the global Spotify record for the biggest opening week for an album by a female artist, topping the charts in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the US! Last week's chart topper, 'Glitch Mode' by NCT DREAM, slips 1-3, selling another 78,000 sales, and a total of 777.000 so far! 'Glitch Mode' is NCT Dream's 2nd studio album, released on March 28, 2022, via SM Entertainment. 'Glitch Mode' surpassed 2.03 million pre-orders on the day of release, the 2nd-highest ever for an SM Act exceeding NCT Dream's previous career high of 1.71M pre-orders with their debut album 'Hot Sauce'. The album debuted at #50 on the US Billboard 200 dated April 9, 2022, selling 15,000 album-equivalent units, and is NCT Dream's first entry on the chart! It landed at #2 on the Billboard World Albums chart. 'Glitch Mode' was released just 9 months after NCT Dream's debut album 'Hot Sauce', and is the group's 2nd album to feature a 7-member lineup following Mark's return. Rock Legends, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, slip 2-4 on the United World Chart with 'Unlimited Love', their 12th studio album and first in almost 6 years, selling another 77,000 equivalent units and 285.000 so far. Their previous album, 'The Getaway' (2016), debuted at no.1 on the Global chart with 342,000 sales! 'Unlimited Love' was released via Warner Records on April 1, 2022 and was produced by Rick Rubin. The first single off the album, "Black Summer", was released in February 2022, and became the Chili Peppers' 14th number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. "These Are the Ways" followed in March 2022. 'Unlimited Love' debuted at #1 in 16 countries including the United States, giving the band their first #1 album in their home country since 2006's 'Stadium Arcadium’!

Korean Superstar Suho from the Iconic K-Pop Band EXO, lands at #6 on this week's United World Chart with his latest masterpiece 'Grey Suit' selling 70,000 equivalent units globally in its 1st week! 'Fear of the Dawn' is the 4th studio album by American Rockstar Jack White, and was released on April 8, 2022, via Third Man Records. The album was written in Nashville and recorded throughout 2021. The Album was preceded by "Taking Me Back" which dropped in October 2021, his first solo single since 2018.
