He's an icon of the American music history: Don Henley, member of the legendary Los Angeles based rock band The Eagles. Their compilation 'Greatest Hits 1971-1975' from 1976 sold nearly 30 million in the USA alone, the best selling album of all time there. Don Henley's fifth solo studio set 'Cass County' leads this week's Global Album Chart with 117,000 sales. 84,000 of it in the United States alone, another 11,000 in United Kingdom and 5,000 in Canada. Don Henley's debut solo album 'I Can't Stand Still' from 1982 contains the Grammy-nominated single smash 'Dirty Laundry', which reached no.10 on the Global Chart in January 1983 and was the biggest solo hit for the 68 year-old musician. Newcomer Fetty Wap, the 24 year-old rapper from New Jersey, debuts at the vice-position with his first album. It found 90,000 buyers in its initial week around the globe. The album was driven by three successful single releases, 'Trap Queen' (no.10 in June 2015), 'My Way' (no.17 in the week 31, 2015) and '679' (currently at no.22). There are massive 21 new-entries inside this week's Top 40, nine come from the United States (Don Henley, Fetty Wap, George Strait, Thomas Rhett, The Dead Weather, the soundtrack to the musical 'Hamilton', Bryson Tiller, Silversun Pickups and Kurt Vile), three from United Kingdom (Disclosure, Chvrches, New Order), two from Germany (Robin Schulz and The BossHoss), two from Italy (Negramaro and Il Volo), one from Japan (Exile Takahiro), one from France (the compilation 'Corsu: Mezzu Mezzu'), one from Canada (Amanda Cook), one from Australia (Parkway Drive) and another one from the Netherlands (Common Linnets).
