Japanese Idol Group King & Prince tops the United World Chart with their 3rd Studio Album 'Re:Sense' after selling 458.000 equivalent units in its first week!

The five-member Japanese idol group King & Prince tops this week's United World Chart with their third studio album 'Re:Sense' after selling 458,000 equivalent sales in its 1st week, according to Oricon. The band's former two albums also landed at #1 on the United World Chart including their self-titled debut album which landed at #1 with 468,000 sales in week 27 of 2019 and 'L&' which topped the chart in week 38 of 2020, selling 555,000 units in its 1st week!


Last week's no.1 album, 'SOUR' by Olivia Rodrigo, slips to the runner-up slot, selling another 130,000 sales, and a total of 1,95 million after ten weeks on the chart! SOUR' landed at #2 on the United World Chart dated June 5 with 411,000 units and lifted to #1 in its 2nd week on the chart! It lifts to No. 4 on the year-to-date list, behind 'Future Nostalgia' by Dua Lipa (1,99 million), 'Dangerous: The Double Album' by Morgan Wallen (2,47 million) and 'Hot Sauce' by NCT Dream (2,92 million)!


The Kid LAROI.'s 'F*ck Love' holds at #3 for a 2nd week. The fourth new version of the album, which was originally released one year ago, sells another 106,000 equivalent sales units over the past week and a total of 1,84 million so far!


British musician Dave debuts at #4 on the United World Chart with his new album, 'We're All Alone In This Together' selling 88.000 units in its 1st week after debuting atop the Official UK Album Chart!


Doja Cat's 'Planet Her' dips 4-5 in its 5th week on the United World Chart after peaking at 3! The album moved another 85.000 units last week and 504.000 so far!


Real Pop Smoke's new posthumous album 'Faith' drops 2-6 this week shifting another 62.000 equivalent units and 197,000 in just 2 weeks, while Dua Lipa's 'Future Nostalgia' slips 5-7 in its 36th week on the chart, scoring another 62.000 units and 4.111.000 so far! 'Future Nostalgia' is the 1st album by a female artist to spend half a year in the top 10 of the US Billboard 200 this decade!


Japanese Artist, SEKAI NO OWARI's new album 'Scent Of Memory' lands at #8 selling 49,000 in its 1st week, while Morgan Wallen's 'Dangerous: The Double Album' sells another 49,000 equivalent units in its 23rd week on the chart, and '2,474,000 units so far!


Pop Smoke's former chart-topping album, 'Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon' reenters holds at #10 after selling another 45,000 units and 5,136,000 so far!
