Canadian teen star Justin Bieber defends the top postion of the Global Track Chart for a seventh consecutive week, 'What Do You Mean?' got another 283,000 points (down 2%). It's no secret that it will be definitely the last week at no.1 for that song. 'Hello', the first sign of Adele's upcoming album, was released last Friday and started with tremendous sales around the globe, the highest weekly singles sales since 18 years... and it seems that 'Hello' will be the first song with more than one million points in a single week since the start of the Mediatraffic Top 40 in January 1999! Back to this week's hitlist, where Drake's 'Hotline Bling' makes a big jump from no.6 to no.2, driven by a 26% points boost to 255,000. It's Drake highest chart-position so far. 'Hotline Bling' interpolates a sample from Timmy Thomas' anti-war hymn and global no.9 hit 'Why Can't We Live Together' from 1973. This week's highest new-entry is another tune from One Direction's upcoming album (release date, November 13). 'Perfect' shoots at no.3 with 251,000 points, meanwhile 'Drag Me Down' remains at no.17 with 106,000 points in its 12th week on the tally. In August this song debuted at no.1 with 428,000 points. 'Infinity', a third single from the new album bowed at no.29 with 86,000 points four weeks ago. Outside our weekly Top 40 waiting among other Nick Jonas' 'Levels' at no.43, Demi Lovato's 'Confident' at no.44 and KDA feat. Tinie Tempah & Katy B's 'Turn The Music Louder' at no.45 for their first appearance on the big list.
