Korean Superstar Group, Red Velvet, lands atop the United World Album Chart this week with their 5th special EP, 'The ReVe Festival 2022 ~ Feel My Rhythm', after selling 203,000 equivalent units and is the World's top-selling album of the past week!

Red Velvet's 5th special EP, 'The ReVe Festival 2022 ~ Feel My Rhythm', lands atop the United World Album Chart with 203,000 equivalent sales and is the World's top-selling album of the past week! The album commemorates the birthday of German music composer J.S.Bach, and features 6 tracks, including the lead single 'Feel My Rhythm', in three physical versions, two ReVe versions with different covers and the Orgel version.


Last week's chart-topper, 'Oddinary', the 6th Korean-language extended play by the Korean Superstar boy band Stray Kids, dips 1-2 on this week's United World Chart, selling another 176,000 equivalent album units and a total of 569,000 so far!
The album debuted and peaked at #1 on the Worldwide & European iTunes Album chart for multiple days and also hit #1 on the Worldwide Apple Music chart for multiple days! The EP also landed at #1 atop the Gaon Albums Chart in Korea, the Official Finnish Albums Chart, the Polish Chart, and the US Billboard 200, Stray Kids' first album to hit #1 in America, and the third Korean act in history to top the chart, after BTS and SuperM_smtown! 'Oddinary' had the biggest sales week for an album in the US in 2022 at the time, with 103,000 pure sales! The EP also appeared on the OCC's UK Albums Chart for the first time at #95!


Machine Gun Kelly lands at #3 on the United World Chart with his new LP, 'Mainstream Sellout' selling 156,000 equivalent units this past week! It's the hugely popular Rapper's 6th studio, and was released on March 25, via Bad Boy Records and Interscope. It is his second collab project with drummer and producer Travis Barker, following 2020's 'Tickets to My Downfall'. 'Mainstream Sellout' debuted atop the US Billboard 200 albums chart with 93,000 album equivalent units, including 42,000 pure album sales, also making it the highest-selling album of the week. It is Kelly's 2nd US #1 album and also topped the weekly charts in Canada, and was a top 10 hit in Austria, Belgium, the Czech republic, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Scotland and the UK where it reached #2.


Japanese Superstar, Fujii Kaze, debuts at #4 on the United World Chart after selling 145,000 album units of his latest masterpiece 'Love All Serve All’!


The Soundtrack to Disney's Disney's Encanto slips 2-5, selling another 97,000 equivalent units and a total of 1,894 Million so far! it's the most successful album this year, followed by The Weeknd's 'Dawn FM' and Adele's '30'! Released by Walt Disney Records on November 19, 2021, the album contains 8 original songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, produced by Mike Elizondo and recorded by various singers, with 27 score pieces composed by Germaine Franco. It has been released in 44 languages, other than English and Spanish! The soundtrack album was a huge commercial success, and topped the Billboard 200 chart for 9 weeks, with all of its original songs entering the US Billboard Hot 100. The album also hit #1 in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, and was a top ten hit in various other territories. 'Encanto' is the first Disney animated film in history to generate multiple top-10 Hot 100 entries. "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the album's most successful track, topping the UK Singles and the US Hot 100 charts for multiple weeks!


Olivia Rodrigo's former chart-topper, SOUR', dips 5-6, in its 42nd week on the chart, selling another 75,000 and 5,038,000 in total since its release on May 21, 2021, via Geffen Records. The album was written by Rodrigo and her producer Dan Nigro. Originally planned as an EP, Rodrigo, it became a full-length album following the viral success of Olivia's debut smash hit "drivers license". Rodrigo is the 1st artist in history to debut her first 3 singles in the top 10 of the Hot 100, and 'SOUR' the 1st debut album in history to spawn 2x #1 debuts on the chart! The album broke the global Spotify record for the biggest opening week for an album by a female artist, topping the charts in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the US! 'SOUR' won Best Pop Vocal Album and Pop Solo Performance for "drivers license" at this year's Grammys. Olivia was the world's 4th best-selling female artist of 2021, after Taylor Swift, Adele and Billie Eilish as per the IFPI!


'7220', the 7th studio album by American rapper Lil Durk, slips 3-7 after 3 weeks in the runner-up slot, scoring another 74,000 equivalent sales units and 317.000 so far!


Doja Cat's 3rd Studio Album 'Planet Her' slips 6-8, selling another 65.000 units and 2,979,000 after 32 weeks on the chart! 'Planet Her' was released on June 25, 2021, by Kemosabe and RCA Records and is named after a fictional planet created by Doja Cat to compre her musical style's shift like travelling outside of Earth and into outer space. Doja Cat exec- produced the album with Yeti Beats, Al Shux, Dr. Luke, Aaron Bow, Rogét Chahayed, Mayer Hawthorne, Kurtis McKenzie, and Y2K, among others. The album spawned several global hits including "Kiss Me More" featuring SZA, "You Right" with the Weeknd, "Need to Know" & "Woman"! 'Planet Her' reached #1 in Lithuania & New Zealand, and #2 in Australia, Canada, Norway, Sweden and the US, spending 4 weeks at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart in the US.
