The album contains eight original songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and produced by Mike Elizondo, and has been released in 44 languages as well as English and Spanish. 'Encanto' is a huge commercial success, the 6th animated film Soundtrack in history to reach #1 in the US, topping the Billboard 200 chart for 4 whole weeks so far, and has charted all of its original songs on the US Billboard Hot 100! It has also reached #1 in Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, where it has been certified silver for 60,000 sales units, and it's a top 10 hit in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Spain.
'Encanto' is the 1st Disney animated film to generate multiple top-10 songs on the UK Official Chart and the US Hot 100! "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the album's best-selling track, having topped the UK Singles and US Billboard Hot 100 charts, while "Surface Pressure" has peaked at #4 in the UK and #8 in the US. "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the 2nd #1 song for Disney in the US after "A Whole New World" from Aladdin in 1992.
