Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" scores a 6th week atop the United World Chart with 317,000 points!

Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License' reigns atop the United World Chart for a 6th week, earning another 317,000 points, and a total of 2,148,000 points since its release, the #1 song of 2021 so far! "Drivers License" broke several records upon its release, including the Spotify record for the most single-day streams for a non-holiday song with over 17 Million listens on January 12! The Song also set a new record for most streams on Spotify in a single week with 65 million streams in the week ending January 14, 2021, and became the fastest song in Spotify history to reach 100 Million, 200, 300 and 400 Million streams! "Driver's License" marked the highest weekly streaming total in the world for a song by a female artist with 130,060,000 streams, surpassing Mariah Carey's tally of 130,042,000 for "All I Want for Christmas Is You". "Drivers's License" also broke the record for the biggest first week streaming debut ever globally on Amazon Music and the most requested song ever in one day on Alexa!

"Driver's License" was released on January 8, 2021, via Interscope Records and Geffen Records, as the lead single from Rodrigo's hugely awaited upcoming debut EP. Olivia personally penned the lyrics to the song which are about her own personal heartache after a breakup. Music critics praised the lyrics, vocals and production by Dan Nigro. The song sold over 16,000 digital downloads in its first 3 days in the US, and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 earning 76.1 million US streams, 38,000 digital downloads and 8.1 million airplay impressions in its opening week. Rodrigo became the youngest artist ever to debut atop the Hot 100 and the first artist born in the 21st-century to do so. The Weeknd's new smash hit, "Save Your Tears" lifts 3-2, in its 6th week on the United World Chart after scoring another 248.000 points! This week's highest debut is "Calling My Phone" by US rapper Lil Tjay and American singer 6LACK which lands at #5 with 183,000 points. Lil Tjay launched the song on Twitter and TikTok. Intended as a Valentine's Day gift to his fans, the artist announced the release of the single on February 4, 2021.

The song has hit #5 so far on the UK Singles Chart and was BRIT certified Gold for 400,000 sales units.

Former No. 1, "Dákiti", by Bad Bunny feat. Jhay Cortez, drops 7-10 after scoring another 151,000 points and previously topping the United World chart for 2 consecutive weeks. It's the first song ever to simultaneously debut at #1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart and in the Top 10 of the US Hot 100 where it reached #5.
