Another massive 17 debuts on this week's Global Album Top 40 and two of it with a six-digit number of copies. These are 'The Documentary 2' by American rapper The Game and 'Revival' by American actress, singer and fashion designer Selena Gomez. The latter bows at the summit of the current tally with 142,000 sales. 85,000 of it in the USA alone, another 10,000 in Canada, estimated 6,000 in Germany, 5,700 in United Kingdom, 4,000 in France and 3,600 in Australia. Selena's last studio album 'Stars Dance' from 2013 started also at the top position with 164,000 sales in the week 32 of that year and sold around one million copies to date. 'The Documentary 2' by The Game arrives at the vice-position with 114,000 sales, the lion-share of it comes from the USA with 83,200 copies, another 10,000 from United Kingdom, 8,000 from Canada, and around 4,000 from Germany. 10 years ago The Game's debut effort 'The Documentary' bowed with massive 620,000 sales in the week 5, 2005. Already next week follows a sequel with the title 'The Documentary 2.5'. In its seventh week on the tally former number one smash 'Beauty Behind The Madness' by The Weeknd turns back to the top three with another 52,000 sales, a total of 931,000 so far. By the way, last week's chart-leader, 'Unbreakable' by Janet Jackson, falls down at no.7 after a 70% sales decline to 43,000. In spite of many, many debuts every week, the two top selling albums of this year are steadfast in the Global Top 10. '1989' by Taylor Swift remains at no.8 and 'X' by Ed Sheeran at no.9 (both with 37,000 sales this week). On the year-to-date list '1989' defends its top position with 3,73 million sales, followed by 'X' with 3,45 million copies. No one has a chance to overthrow these both albums from the throne of the countdown chart 2015... except Adele will release her new set '25' in the next time, some sources reported that the album will be published on November 20. Some additional sales stats: 'Chaos And The Calm' by James Bay sold 14,000 copies last week and reaches a total of 782,000 so far, 'The Best!
