Selena Gomez has the World's best-selling Album this week as 'Rare' tops the Global Album Chart with first week sales of 186.000!

'Rare'', the 3rd studio album by Selena Gomez, goes straight to #1 on the Global Album Chart with 186.000 equivalent sales including 112.000 from the US and 10.000 from Canada according to Nielsen Music/Billboard, and 18.000 from the UK according to the Official Chart Company. 'Rare' was released on January 10 via Interscope Records, and topped the Worldwide iTunes album chart and the Apple Music chart for 7 whole days. "Lose You to Love Me", was released as the lead single on October 23, 2019, and topped the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Gomez's first #1 single in the US. The album debuted atop the US Billboard 200 chart, becoming Gomez's 3rd consecutive #1 album in the US. 'Rare' also debuted at #1 in Argentina Australia, Belgium, Canada, Estonia, Lithuania, Norway, and Scotland. It has debuted at #2 in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Slovakia and the UK, at #3 in Austria, Germany, Poland and Switzerland, at #4 in Ireland, at #5 in Denmark and Finland, at #6 in France and Italy, at #7 in Sweden and at #30 in Japan!

 

This week's 2nd highest debut of the week comes from Japanese actor, singer, and radio host Takuya Kimura, former member of the band SMAP. His solo album 'Go With The Flow' debuts at No. 2 with sales of 127.000 according to Oricon. 

 

Last week's chart topper Roddy Ricch's 'Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial', dips 1 - 3 after selling another 126,000 units globally and a total of 614.000 so far!

 

Post Malone's former #1 Album 'Hollywood's Bleeding' dips 2-4 after selling another 87.000 units and 3.071.000 so far.

 

Former chart topper, Billie Eilish’s 'When We All Fall asleep, Where Do We Go' dips 4-5 after selling another 80.000 units and a total of 4.758.000 so far while Harry Styles' former chart topping album, 'Fine Line', slips 3-6 after selling another 79.000 copies and 1.068.000 so far! 

 

New entry at #7 for SF9’s 'First Collection' with first week sales of 71.000 while the Soundtrack Frozen 11 slips 8 - 5 after selling another 69.000 units and 888.000 so far!

 

New entry at #9 for Moneybagg Yo's 'Time Served' after selling 67.000 units in its 1st week and closing this week's Top 10 is ATEEZ's brand new album 'Treasure Epilogue: Action To Answer' with 1st week sales of 66.000!
