Shawn Mendes's 'Handwritten' is the World's top selling Album! It's the first full-length album of the 16 year-old American newcomer, and rockets to the top of the charts after selling 139.000 copies this week, with 105.900 of them in the USA, another 14.000 in Canada according to Nielsen Soundscan, and 6,800 in the United Kingdom according to Music Week. Last week's chart-topper, the soundtrack to the action blockbuster 'Furious 7', slips to no.2 with sales of 92.000, and a total of 318.000 after five weeks on the world chart. Exo's new LP 'Exodus' is no.3 with sales of 73.000 and total sales of 477.000 after just three weeks in stores. The second highest debut is the third album of the American hard rock band Halestorm, 'Into The Wild Life' at no.4 with sales of 72.000, 52,600 of which were in the US, 3.000 in Canada, 7.500 in the UK and 4.000 in Germany.
