Due to lack of competition, the South Korean boy group Super Junior had an easy game. Their ninth album in ten years, 'Devil', makes a big jump from no.17 to the summit in its second week at retail. It sold 85.000 copies in East-Asia last week. The best selling album from the western hemisphere was the new effort by the American heavy metal act Lamb Of God. 'VII: Sturm Und Drang' rockets to the vice position globally with 80.000 sales, 47.000 of it in the USA alone, each 6.000 in United Kingdom and Germany. With only a few hundred copies behind ranks Dream Come True's 'The Best! Watashi No Dorikamu' at no.3. After three weeks on the tally the album sold a total of 544.000 copies. American singer / model / actress Jill Scott bows at no.4 with her fifth studio album 'Woman' and 63.000 sales. The two best selling albums of 2015 (so far) are still in the Top 10: Ed Sheeran's 'X' climbs back from no.7 to no.5 with another 55.000 sales, a total of 6.370.000 since its release, 2.884.000 of it this year alone. Taylor Swift's '1989' rises one slot at no.7 with 47.000 sales, a total of 7.875.000, 3.256.000 in 2015. The third biggest seller this year, Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour' placed at no.12 this week with 36.000 sales, a total of 5.474.000 units so far, 2.595.000 in 2015. It's a little bit strange, it's August but all biggest seller of the year are still from 2014. Some additional sales stats: 'Before This World' by James Taylor sold 14.000 copies last week and reaches a total of 302.000 so far, 'Stages' by Josh Groban sold 12.000 units last week, 655.000 so far, 'Smoke+Mirrors' by Imagine Dragons sold 11.000 units last week and has a total of 878.000 copies so far, 'Chaos And The Calm' by James Bay sold 602.000 copies so far, 'Montevallo' by Sam Hunt 743.000, and 'Four' by One Direction 2.785.000.
