Stray Kids' top-selling 4th studio album '5-Star', explodes atop the United World chart with massive equivalent album sales of 1,724,000, scoring the 2nd largest sales week this year! '5-Star' exceeded 5.13 million Pre-orders, becoming the most pre-ordered release in K-pop history! According to Hanteo, the album sold 2,392,666 copies on its first day of release, and 4,617,499 in its first week, becoming the fastest 1st-week selling album in South Korea!
'5-Star' debuted atop the Billboard 200, becoming the group's 3rd consecutive #1 album in the US. With 249,500 equivalent album units, it marks the 4th-largest week by any album released in 2023, including 235,000 pure album sales (231,000 CDs and 4,000 digital albums) marking the biggest sales week of 2023 and since Taylor Swift's Midnights (2022), opened with over 1.1 million units. In Japan, '5-Star' peaked at #2 on the Oricon Albums Chart. The album marks the group's first #1 in Australia, Belgium (both Flanders and Wallonia), France, Greece, Hungary, and Poland! It landed at #2 in Germany & Switzerland, and hit the top ten in Denmark, Finland, Italy, Lithuania, and the Netherlands. In the UK it became the group's first top-40 album in the country, debuting at #40. In Australia, the album peaked at #2 on Australia's ARIA Albums Chart! It's the group's highest peak and their third top-50 entry after 'Noeasy' (2021), and 'Maxident' (2023)!


Rock Legends, Foo Fighters, land at #2 on the United World Chart with 'But Here We Are', the 2nd biggest seller of the week with 148,000 sales! It's the group's 1st studio album since the death of their longtime drummer, Taylor Hawkins! The album debuted at #1 in Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland & the UK, after an massive chart battle with Noel Gallagher's 'High Flying Birds', giving Foo Fighters their 6th UK number 1 album! It landed at #2 in Austria & Belgium, at #3 in Ireland, at #4 in Canada & Germany, #6 in Finland & Japan, #8 in Sweden and the US, #9 in Spain and #10 in France! Frontman Dave Grohl performed and recorded the entirety of the album's drum tracks. Four singles, "Rescued", "Under You", "Show Me How" and "The Teacher" were released ahead of the album, while drummer Josh Freese was announced as Hawkins' replacement for touring after its release.

Taylor Swift's chart-topping, record-breaking 'Midnights' dips 3-5 after selling another 118,000 equivalent album units Exclu. China and 8.800 equivalent units so far globally!


Metro Boomin's starstudded 'Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse' Soundtrack lands at #6 on the United World chart scoring 96.000 equivalent album units in its 1st week on the list! American multi-genre singer/songwriter Jelly Roll lands at #8 on this week's United World chart with his new album WhitsittChapel, scoring 92,000 equivalent album units after landing at #3 on the Billboard 200!
