Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' Scores A 2nd Consecutive Week Atop The Global Album Chart!

Taylor Swift’s ‘Folklore' scores a 2nd week at #1 on the Global Album Chart selling another 237.000 official equivalent units globally! 'Folkore' has already sold in excess of 2 Million albums having debuted at #1 on the Global Album Chart with over 1 Million official equivalent album units plus over 720,000 in China where it is the best-selling album of the year by a western female artist! The album broke numerous records on streaming services, including the Guinness World Record for the biggest Album debut of 2020 with over 80.6 million streams in 24 hrs, the biggest opening day for an album by a female artist on Spotify of All Time! ‘Folklore’ also had the largest streaming 1st week for a Female Artist in 2020 with 218,000 SEA units (289.85 million on-demand streams). It's also 2020's top-selling Album in the US having shifted 846,000 equivalent album units in its 1st week, the biggest debut on the Billboard 200 since the chart topper's last album, 'Lover' in 2019! 615,000 of 'Folklore's units sold in the 1st week were pure sales. She is also the first act in Nielsen SoundScan history to have 7 albums sell at least 500,000 copies each in a single week! All 16 tracks of 'Folklore' debuted simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "cardigan" at #1 making Swift the 1st artist in history to debut at #1 on both the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 in the same week! She is now the 1st woman in UK history to debut 3 Top 10 songs simultaneously. In Ireland, 'Folklore' scored the biggest opening week of 2020! Former chart topper, Pop Smoke's posthumous Album 'Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon', rebounds 4-3 after selling another 147.000 equivalent album units and 1.023.000 so far while Juice WRLD's former #1 Album 'Legends Never Die' dips 3-4 after selling another 135.000 units and 1.122.000 so far!

The Original Broadway Cast of 'Hamilton: An American Musical' holds at #5 after selling another 78.000 and 2.479.000 since its release, while former chart topper, Harry Styles' 'Fine Line', slips 6-7 after selling another 74.000 units this past week and 2.761.000 in total!

Lil Baby's 'My Turn', holds at #9 after selling other 53.000 equivalent album units and 1.762.000 since its release on February 28, and previous chart topper, The Weeknd's 'After Hours' rebounds to #10 on the Global Album chart after selling another 52.000 and 2.252.000 units so far!
