The Weeknd reigns atop the Global Track Chart for a 5th week with his smash hit "Blinding Lights"!

The Weeknd​ scores a 5th consecutive week at #1 on the Global Track Chart with his smash hit single "Blinding LIghts"! It's The Weeknd's 3rd global number one following "Can't Feel My Face" which topped the chart for 3 weeks in August - September 2015 and "Starboy" which held atop the global chart for 4 weeks in December 2016. "Blinding Lights" is the 2nd single off the Weeknd's new album 'After Hours' which dropped on March 20. Released on November 29, "Blinding Lights" was copenned by the Weeknd and coproduced with Max Martin and Oscar Holter and debuted at #1 on the Official UK chart, Abel's first number one Single in Gt. Britain. The Song held for 5 weeks at #1 in the UK and just scored a 9th week at #1 in Australia. "Blinding Lights" has topped the weekly charts in a total of 24 countries so far including Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland. In the US, the Single debuted at #2 on the Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs chart, blocked from going to #1 by The Weeknd's own "Heartless", and is currently at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100! "Blinding Lights" has already been certified gold in Denmark, Germany and Spain, and is now Platinum in Belgium, France, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, the UK and the US! The single is double Platinum in Australia and Canada.
 
 
Dua Lipa's "Don't Start Now" lifts 3-2 while Tones And I's "Dance Monkey" slips 2-3 after topping the chart for 16 non consecutive weeks!  
 
 
Roddy Rich's "The Box" holds at #4, Justin Bieber's "Intentions" ft. Quavo lifts 7-5, Maroon 5s "Memories" holds at #6 while new Rap Star Doja Cat rises 13-7 with her brand new song "Say So”! 
 
 
Lady Gaga's "Stupid Love", the highest new entry of last week, dips 5-8, Post Malone's "Circles" rises 12-9 and Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved" dips 9-10.
