Beyoncé becomes the first black woman in history to top the United World chart with a country album! 'Cowboy Carter' met with universal acclaim upon its release, boosted the listenership of Black country artists and country radio in general, and increased the popularity of Western wear andculture globally! 'Cowboy Carter' landed Beyoncé her biggest streaming week ever, breaking streaming records on several platforms. It became the most-streamed album in a single day in 2024 on Spotify with over 76 million streams globally, making it the 6th highest first-day stream debut for any female album and the highest for any album by a black woman. The album also marks the most first-day streams for a country album by a female artist in the history of Amazon Music! 

'Cowboy Carter' debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, with 407,000 album-equivalent units, with Beyoncé becoming the first woman to debut their first 8 albums at No. 1. 'Cowboy Carter' also debuted at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, making Beyoncé the first Black woman to have a No. 1 country album, and also topped the Americana/Folk Albums and Top Album Sales charts. All 23 songs on Cowboy Carter debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, with "Texas Hold 'Em" making history, becoming the 1st country song by a black woman to top the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Official UK Albums Chart selling 40,000 copies in its 1st week, Beyoncé's 5th chart topper as a solo act, and her 6th overall. The album also debuted at #1 on the Official UK Vinyl Albums Chart. Korean Superstar Group NCT DREAM lands at #2 on the United World Chart with their 6th EP 'Dream()scape' after debuting at #1 on the Circle chart in Korea!
