Kendrick Lamar has the world's No.1 Album this week with 'Untitled/Unmastered' which was released without advance notice on March 4, selling 187,000 copies in its first week, with 142,100 of it in the United States alone. It's the rapper's second no.1 album in less than 12 months: 'To Pimp A Butterfly' (this week at no.41 with sales of 17,000) debuted atop the chart with 415,000 copies in April, 2015 and has sold a total of 1,35 million so far.


Adele's '25' is still going strong in second position after shifting another 164,000 units. '25' is the best-selling Album of 2016 with sales of 2,328,000. Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' climbs back to no.3 this week, selling another 82,000 copies. 'Purpose' ranks at no.3 on the year-to-date album chart with sales of 1,105,000. Second on the 2016 best-selling Albums list is David Bowie's 'Blackstar' with sales of 1,581,000 sales.

'Title' by Meghan Trainor sold 9.000 copies last week and reaches a total of 1,994,000 so far. 'Get Weird' by Little Mix sold 13,000 units last week, and 650,000 so far. 'Revival' by Selena Gomez sold 10,000 units last week and has a total of 653,000 units so far.
'Farbenspiel' by Helene Fischer sold 2,635,000 copies so far. 'Chambre 12' by Louane has sold 1,025,000 so far, and 'Ensemble' by Kendji 657,000.




The 1975's second studio Album 'I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It' is the World's best-selling Album of the week, after shifting 204,000 units, 98,200 of which in the US according to Billboard / Nielsen Music, 58,400 in the UK, according to the Official charts, and 10,700 in Australia, according to ARIA. Two and a half years ago, the band's first album debuted at no.15 selling 50,000 units in 2013 and sold nearly one million copies to date.

In its 15th week on the chart, Adele's '25' slips to no.2, selling 181,000 units and a total of 17,134,000 since its release on November 20. Her former Album '21' slips one slot to No.24, selling another 24,000 copies, after 148 weeks in the Top 40 and a total of 27,837,000 copies sold.

Japan's boy group Sexy Zone's fourth album 'Welcome To Sexy Zone' is this week's second highest debut at no.3 after selling 111,000 copies, in their native country according to Oricon.

American hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis debut at no.4 globally with 'This Unruly Mess I've Made' and sales of 99,000. It's the follow-up to their multi-million seller and Grammy decorated debut album 'The Heist' from 2012.

Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' closes the top five with sales of 84,000 and a total of 3,984,000 so far.

'19' by Adele has sold another 9.000 copies this past week, reaching a total of 7,099,000 copies so far. 'Get Weird' by Little Mixsold 12,000 units last week, and 637,000 so far. Disney's 'Frozen' soundtrack sold 10,000 units last week and a total of 8,873,000 units so far. 'Revival' by Selena Gomez sold 643,000 copies so far. 'To Pimp A Butterfly' by Kendrick Lamar has sold 1,329,000 units so far.

Danish rock band Lukas Graham rises to No.2 with their ballad '7 Years'.

Japanese idol group Arashi has this week's highest debut, 'Fukkatsu Love' is their 25th global Top 10 smash and debuts at no.3.

'Love Yourself' by Justin Bieber slips from No.2 to 4 and 'Stressed Out' by Twenty One Pilots slips from 4 to No.5.

Kelly Clarkson shoots to No.8 with the title track of her last album 'Piece By Piece'. It's Kelly's first Global Top 10 hit in four years.

Adele's '25' has sold another 180,000 copies in its 14th week on the global Album's chart, shifting 81,000 in the USA last week, 28,200 in the UK, around 10,000 in Germany, 5,800 in France, 8,300 in Canada, 5,100 in Australia and 2,500 in Japan. The album has sold 16,953,000 copies to date.

The World's second best-selling Album is Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' which sold 83,000 copies this past week. This is the 15th week on the chart for 'Purpose' which has sold a total of 3,9 million since its release.

The two highest debuts this week are from the Japanese idol girl group Momoiro Clover Z. Their third and fourth studio albums 'Amaranthus' and 'Hakkin No Yoake', released on the same day, sold 80,783 and 81,524 copies in their initial week, according to Oricon. The Albums are at No.1 and No.2 on Japan's official album chart, and at No.3 and No.4 on the world chart.

Rihanna, whose "Work" is No.1 on the global track chart, closes out the Top 5 with her new Album  'Anti' after selling 75,000 copies last week.

The biggest climber of the week is South Korean singer, songwriter, actor, director and designer Kim Jaejoong. Last week his new album 'No.X Vol.2' debuted at no.22 with 31,000 sales in  his native country alone. This week, with additional sales from Japan, the album rockets to no.9 in the World's best-selling Albums chart with 48,000 copies sold.

Get Weird' by Little Mix sold 9,000 units last week, selling a total of 625,000 so far: 'If You're Reading This, It's Too Late' by Drake sold 7,000 units last week and has a total of 1.550,000 units so far, 'Blackstar' by David Bowie sold 1,493,000 copies so far, 'A Head Full Of Dreams' by Coldplay 2,450,000, and 'Confident' by Demi Lovato 470,000.

Driven by the premiere of its official video, "Work" increases its global sales considerably. It's Rihanna's 12th No.1 smash on the Global Chart, exactly the same number as the Rolling Stones achieved. Only five acts have had more No.1 smashes in the World chart: Michael Jackson with 13 No.1 hits, the Beatles and AKB 48 both with 21 hits and Elvis Presley and Madonna, each have 22 hit Songs. 'Work' ends Justin Bieber's three-week reign with his 'Love Yourself' which slips to t no.2. '7 Years' by Lukas Graham remains at no.3, and Adele's 'Hello' holds at No.7 after 18 weeks on the chart.
