American singer/songwriter Halsey has the World's best-selling Album this week with her second studio album 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom'. The LP scored 146,000 equivalent sales in its first week, 106,000 of it in the US alone, another 9,500 in Canada, 7,100 in the UK and 4,400 in Australia.


Just behind Halsey is Pink Floyd bassist and vocalist Roger Waters with his 5th studio album 'Is This The Life We Really Want?' at No.2 with 137,000 equivalent sales. It's Roger's first studio LP in almost 12 years.


Ed Sheeran's 'Divide' returns to no.3 in its 14th week with 135,000 sales and a total of 5,72 million so far.


'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' by the The Beatles is at no.4, due to its special 50th anniversary rerelease, with 129,000 consumption units. The 30th anniversary release of
U2's 'The Joshua Tree', the biggest rock album of the Eighties, soars to no.9 with 62,000 sales.

Asia rules this week with an album from Japan and another from South Korea atop the World's best-selling Albums chart! Nogizaka 46, rival of the group AKB 48, reigns with their 3rd studio album 'Umarete Kara Hajimete Mita Yume' and sales of 349,800 in its 1st week according to Oricon.


Seventeen, a boy group from South Korea is at No. 2 with their 4th EP 'A|1' and 211,000 equivalent sales.


'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' by the Beatles is at no.3 with 183,000 consumption units, after its 50th anniversary reissue. With over 31 million sales it's the most successful studio album by the Beatles and is no.15 on the ALL TIME CHART.


After 13 weeks, Ed Sheeran's 'Divide' slips to no.4 after selling another 142,000 units this week for a grand total of 5,586,000 so far. Closing the top five is 'True To Self', the 2nd studio album by American R&B singer Bryson Tiller, selling 120,000 equivalent sales, 107,000 of which in the US.

Rock Legends Linkin Park top this week's Global Album Chart with their
seventh studio album 'One More Light'. The LP garnered 212,000
equivalent sales in its first week, 111,000 of it in the United States
alone (according to Nielsen Music), 19,300 in Japan (according to
Oricon), 16,100 in the UK (according to OCC), 12,000 in Canada
(according to Nielsen Music), and nearly 20,000 in Germany (according to
GfK). Linkin Park's former LP, 'The Hunting Party', debuted with 270,000
pure sales in 2014, but landed only at no.2, behind Lana Del Rey's
'Ultraviolence' with sales of 356,000.

Ed Sheeran's 'Divide' is at No. 2. It's the 12th week on the chart after
shifting another 157,000 equivalent sales this past week, and 5,44
million so far.

Harry Styles self-titled debut Solo Album slips from No. 1 to 3 with
139,000 comsumption units, a total of 533,000 after two weeks.

The highest Top 10 debut of the week comes from the South Korean girlie
group Twice. Their fourth EP 'Signal' sold 112,000 copies, mostly in
East-Asia.

week. The song remains at No.1 in the United States, United Kingdom,
France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Sweden, Portugal, Australia etc.

Ed Sheeran's 'Shape Of You' ranks a 4th consecutive week at no.2 after
topping the chart for 16 consecutive weeks!

Charlie Puth's 'Attention' has the highest hot shot debut of the week at
no.17.

One Direction's Liam Payne enters at no.18 with "Strip That Down" ft.
Quake, and Selena Gomez's 'Bad Liar' debuts at no.20.
