The amazing Japanese musician, singer-songwriter, record producer and illustrator, Kenshi Yonezu, tops the global album chart for a 3rd week with his incredible album 'Stray Sheep' selling another 168.000 equivalent units and 1.500.000 so far! Yonezu is the 4th Act to debut on the Global Album Chart with over a Million official Units this year following BTS's 'Map Of The Soul 7, SEVENTEEN’s 'Heng:Garae and Taylor Swift's 'Folklore'. 'Stray Sheep' sold nearly all its units in Japan where it is also #1 for a 3rd week on the Oricon Album Chart!

 

New entry at #2 this week on the Global Album Chart for ITZY's 'Not Shy' which sold 155.000 units it its first week while Taylor Swift's former #1 album Folklore' dips 2-3 after selling another 152,000 this past week and 1,780,000 million official sales so far, not counting the album's unofficial tally in China which is in excess of 750.000!

Jason Derulo rebounds to #1 on the Global Track Chart for a 4th week with "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)" by New Zealand Producer Jawsh685. Its the first No. 1 on the Global Track Chart for both artists! Jawsh 685 first released the instrumental version, titled "Laxed (Siren Beat)", to YouTube in 2019. The original song was a tribute to Jawsh 685's Samoan and Cook Island roots and went viral on Tik Tok in 2020, sparking the "Culture Dance" challenge, in which others would show off their cultural roots while dancing to the song. Following its viral success, "Laxed (Siren Beat)" was officially released to online platforms on 24 April 2020 and Jawsh 685 signed with Columbia Records in May 2020. Following the viral success of "Laxed (Siren Beat)" on TikTok, Jason Derulo posted a video of himself partaking in the "Culture Dance" challenge, which received tens of millions of views.
