BTS's Jimin lands at #2 with his new single "Like Crazy", scoring 387,000 points in its 1st week. The song was released as the 2nd single from his debut solo studio album "Face" on March 24, 2023. Two versions of the synth-pop track, produced by Pdogg and Ghstloop, were recorded: one in Korean and one in English. The Korean version is about losing a loved one but thinking they still exist, while the English version is about stardom and the fear of losing oneself. Both versions were written by Pdogg, Blvsh, Chris James, Ghstloop, Jimin, BTS bandmate RM, and Evan. The single is the first by a South Korean solo artist to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 since the chart's inception in 1958! The song sold 254,000 downloads and CD singles combined, becoming Jimin's 3rd #1 on the Digital Song Sales chart and scoring the highest single sales week since Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" (328,000 copies in November 2022). Jimin is the first member of BTS to achieve a #1 song and chart debut, a Top 10 and Top 20 hit and 2 top 40 entries. Country Superstar Morgan Wallen's new album 'One Thing At A Time' is back #1 on the United World Chart, scoring another 232,000 equivalent sales units and a total of 1,050 Million in its 3rd week on the list! The Album debuted with huge sales of 536,000 equivalent album units! Last week it dipped 1-2, earning another 282,000 units. 'One Thing at a Time' is Wallen's 3rd studio album released on March 3, 2023, through Big Loud Records. It features 36 tracks, including the singles "You Proof", "Thought You Should Know", "Last Night", the title track and the promotional single "Don't Think Jesus", and collaborations with Eric Church, Hardy and Ernest. The album debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200 with 501,000 album-equivalent units, including 111,500 pure album sales! It's Wallen's 2nd consecutive US #1 album and marks the biggest week of 2023 for album units earned, and overall biggest week for a country album since Red (Taylor's Version) by Taylor Swift in November 2021. In the week of the album's release, all 36 tracks entered the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record set by Drake for most songs charting simultaneously, as well as the record for most debuts on the chart, with 27. 'Songs Of Surrender', an album of re-recorded tunes by Irish rock legend U2, lands at #2, the highest new entry of the week with 142,000 equivalent sales sold! It comprises new versions of 40 songs from the group's back catalogue, many in stripped-down and acoustic arrangements. In the United States, 'Songs of Surrender' debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 with 46,500 album-equivalent units earned, including 42,000 pure sales, 4,000 streaming equivalent albums and 500 track equivalent albums.
