Shawn Mendes' eponymous Album tops this week's Global Album chart, with 302,000 equivalent sales, 182,000 of which in the US, 32,000 in Canada and 23,000 from the UK. 

 

The Album debuted at N°1 this week in the US, replacing BTS's 'Love Yourself: Tear' on the Billboard 200 with 182,000 album-equivalent units including 142,000 pure Album sales, becoming Mendes' 3d consecutive US N°1 album! It also topped the Billboard Chart in Canada with 32,000 album-equivalent units, becoming Mendes' third Canadian N°1 Album. The Album has also debuted at N°1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, giving Mendes his 1st N°1 Album in Australia! Its also N°1 in Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. The Album debuted at N°2 in Denmark, Eire, Italy, Korea, New Zealand, Norway and Portugal. In the UK, the Album opened at N°3, with first-week sales of 23,419. It also bowed at N°3 in Germany, N°4 in Scotland, N°5 in Sweden, N°6 in Finland, N°9 in Hungary and N°10 in France.

 

Shawn's new Album is powered by its smash hit lead Single 'In My Blood', which topped the Worldwide iTunes chart for 7 straight days and holds at n°10 on the Global Track Chart this week!

Korean Superstar Group BTS tops the Global Chart for a 2nd week with their top-selling Album 'Love Yourself 轉 Tear' after moving another 752,000 in equivalent sales. BTS is the first K-pop group to have two consecutive albums exceed one million in pre-orders in Korea! After its release, 'Love Yourself Tear' sold over one million copies during its first week, around 250,000 copies more than Love Yourself: Her, with BTS becoming the first K-pop artist to achieve this on the Hanteo chart since its inception in 1993, and making them true "double million sellers" (without repackage).


On May 27, 2018, the album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, earning 135,000 album-equivalent units (including 100,000 pure album sales), becoming BTS' highest-charting album in the US, as well as the first K-pop album to top the US albums chart, and the highest-charting album by an Asian act! It is also the highest Album sales week for both BTS and a Korean act in the United States, and the first album primarily in a non-English language to top the Billboard 200 since Il Divo with 'Ancora' in 2006.


The Album also went to N°1 in Japan on the Billboard Hot Albums chart, and has already reached Top 10 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK!


In just 10 days, 'Love Yourself 轉 Tear' sold enough around the world to push the Album to no.5 on the year-end list, becoming the 5th best-selling Album of 2018 so far!

Calvin Harris tops the global track chart for the 2nd time with 'One Kiss', a collaboration with British Superstar Dua Lipa who scores her 1st global number one! Calvin's first N°1 was "We Found Love" with Rihanna six and a half years ago which topped the global chart for 14 weeks! 

"One Kiss" was written by Calvin, Dua & Jessie Reyez and was released on 6 April 2018, as the 2nd single from Harris' upcoming 6th studio album. The accompanying trippy music video, directed by Emil Nava, features Lipa dancing in front of a number of bright and tropical backdrops. Harris plays a waiter.

The Song is N°1 again this week in the UK after 7 weeks atop the Official chart. So far, it has reached n°1 in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, the Netherlands, Scotland and Slovakia! It has peaked at N°2 in Denmark, Hungary, Lebanon, Luxembourg and Mexico, N°3 in Casa De Australia Macau, N°4 in El Salvador, Sweden and Switzerland, N°5 in France and Portugal, N°6 in Argentina, Malaysia and New Zealand, N°7 in Romania, N°9 in Ecuador, Poland, Slovenia and N°10 in Italy!

Childish Gambino tops the Global Track Chart for a second week with "This Is America" while Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa's "One Kiss" rises to a new peak at n°2. 

 

Ariana Grande's "No Tears Left To Cry" slips one spot to n°3, Drake's "Nice For What" which topped the Global Track chart for 2 weeks, holds at n°4 while "God's Plan" which topped the chart for 8 weeks, rebounds one spot to n°5!

 

Post Malone's "Psycho" ft. Ty Dolla $ign rises one spot to n°6, marshmello's "Friends" with Anne-Marie climbs one spot to n°7, Zedd's "The Middle" with Maren Morris & Grey lifts one spot to n°8 and Lil Dicky's "Freaky Friday" ft. Chris Brown moves up one spot to n°9.

 

Closing this week's Top 10 is David Guetta's "Flames" ft. Sia, up 5 spots from last week!

Just 3 days' sales (806.000 units) of BTS's new Album 'Love Yourself 轉 Tear' in Korea was enough to top this week's Global Album Chart! It's the fastest selling Album in South Korean in history! Next week the Album will hold the N°1 spot for a 2nd week, because it has massive sales in many other countries including the US, where it will debut at N°1 on the Billboard 200!

 

The second highest and important debut of the week, is 'Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino' by the British indie rock Band Arctic Monkeys which debuts with 223.000 equivalent sales, 86.000 of which is from the UK and 47.000 units from the United States. 

 

The N°1 Album of the past two weeks, Post Malone's 'Beerbongs & Bentleys', slips to n°3 with sales of 221.000 and a total of 1.106.000 since its release 3 weeks ago!

 

P!nk's 'Beautiful Trauma' rebounds from 13 to 4 after selling another 160.000 units and a total of 2.705.000 so far.

 

The Greatest Showman Soundtrack slips 2 - 5 after selling another 114.000 and 3.083.000 so far.

 

New entry at N°6 for Charlie Puth's 'Voicenotes' with sales of 114.000!

 

Cardi B's 'Invasion of Privacy' slips from 4 - 7 with sales of 76.000 and 847.000 so far while J.Cole's 'KOD' slips from 3 to 8 with sales of 75.000 this week and 780.000 so far!

 

New entry at n°9 for Playboi Carti's 'Die Lit' with 1st week sales of 71.000.

 

Ed Sheeran's 'Divide' closes this week's Top 10 after selling another 71.000 and 11.799.000 so far!
