Lady Gaga's new music video “G.U.Y. – An ARTPOP Film” debuted Saturday, March 22nd on the singer's VEVO channel. 

G.U.Y. stands for Girl Under You, directed by Gaga herself and at 11 minutes and 46 seconds, it's a whole LOT of video. It begins with a wounded half woman, half bird Gaga and ends with the resurrection of Jesus and Michael Jackson.

Pharrell’s “Happy” is no.1 for an eighth week after 14 weeks on the Worlds best-selling Singles Chart. Katy Perry feat. Juicy J's "Dark Horse” remains second to Pharrell at no.2. John Legend's “ All Of Me” remains in 3rd position at no.3. The Biggest winner of the week is "’#Selfie” the new viral by New York based DJ duo The Chainsmokers. “ Selfie" jumps from no.31 to no.17.

 

Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty” ft. 2 Chainz goes up from 5 to 4 this week and Pitbull’s “Timber” ft Ke$ha stays at no.4. There are 4 debut Songs this week and the first one is "Sakura, Minade Tabeta" by Japanese Girl Band HKT 48.

 

At no.7 up from no.9 is Clean Bandit ft. Jess Glynne with "Rather Be”. At no.8 up from 11 is Avicii with “hey Brother”, at no.9up 1 place is Shakira’s “Can’t Remember To Forget You” ft. Rihanna and closing this week’s top 10 is A Great Big World’s “Say Something” ft. Christina Aguilera.

 

The Second new entry in this weeks Top 40 is “Tsunami' by the Canadian duo DVBBS featuring Tinie Tempah debuts at no.28. French DJ Snake and Lill Jon debuts with "Turn Down For What" at no.36. J-pop rock band Bump Of Chicken’s eighth studio album “Ray” debuts at no.1 and is the World’s best-selling Album with sales of 182.000 copies in its first week accoring to Oricon. Close behind is Atsushi, from the legendary boy band Exile, with his new solo effort “ usic" at no.2 after selling 174.000 copies.

 

Pharrell Williams' "G I R L” slips fromm no.1 to no.3 this week, after a 48% sales decline to 164.000 copies. After two weeks on the tally the album has moved a total of 482.000 units.

 

Down from no.2 to 4 is Walt Disney's soundtrack “ Frozen" with sales this week of 142,000 and a total of 1,71 million sales in 2014. Beyoncé's self-titled album now ranks now at no.2 with a total of 1,7 million sales in 2014. Beyoncé's album slides at no.11 with 48.000 copies sold. At no.5 the 3rd highest debut this week comes from French Musicians Les Enfoires with sales of 109,000 of the Album "Bon Anniversaires Les Enfoirés”.

 

New Entry at no.6 for Luke Bryan and “Spring Break 6: Like We Aint Ever” and sales of 82,000. Fifth New Entry in this week’s Top 10 is Elbow’s “the Take Off And Landing Of Everything” and sales of 72,000.

 

Lorde slips from no.7 to 8 with “Pure Album” and sales of 63.000 and the Sixth New Entry of the week in this week’s top 10 is Man With A Mission’s “Tales Of Purefly” which sold 62,000 copies. Closing this week’s Top 10 is Rick Ross’s “Mastermind”.

 

Aloe Blacc debuts at no.12 with “Life Your Spirit” and sales of 48.000.

 

So far Pink’s "The Truth About Love’” has sold 5,51 million in total, Drake’s "Nothing Was The Same” has sold 1,96 million, Avril Lavigne's self-titled album 538.000 copies, 'Plus' by Ed Sheeran 3,6 million, 'Unapologetic' by Rihanna 3,48 million, 'The 20/20 Experience, Part 1' by Justin Timberlake 3,91 million, 'Part 2' 1,3 million, 'Take Me Home' by OneDirection 5,38 million and 'Loved Me Back To life' by Celine Dion 1,35 million.

Helped by the huge success of the track “ Happy", Pharrell's new album "G I R L” jumps atop the World’s best-selling album chart with sales of 318.000 copies in its first week, 112.000 of those in the US, 69.200 in the UK and 56k in France.

 


At no.2 is “ Tree", the 7th release of the K Pop idol group Tohoshinki. American rapper Rick Ross is no.3 globally with “Mastermind” which is top of this week's Best 200 albums in the US chart. At no.4 is the Soundtrack to “Frozen” and at no.5 is Lea Michele, best known for her performance as Rachel Berry on the US TV series “ Lee". Her first album 'Louder' debuts with 82.000 sales.

 

Beyonce’s self-titled album is still the Worlds best-selling album in 2014 with 1,65 million copies sold after january 1st, Disney's soundtrack to the blockbuster “Frozen” is still the second best-selling with 1,57 million sales in 2014. AKB’s "Tsugi No Ashiato” is in 3rd position of the 2014 annual chart with 1,03 million copies sold and One Direction is 4th with 1.02 million copies of "Midnight Memories”. "Pure Heroine" by Lorde comes in fifth with 903.000 Albums sold internationally.

 

Adele sold another 12.000 copies last week of “21” bringing the Albums Grand total to 26,32 million so far.

 

European Albums leading in sales are "Racine Carrée” by Stromae which has sold a grand total of 1,92 million copies since its release, "Swings Both Ways” by Robbie Williams which has sold 1,6 million, “Farbenspiel" by Helene Fischer 908.000 copies and “Hydra" by Within Temptation 158.000.

New at no.1 in Japan and at no.16 globally is "Hikari No Signal” by Kis-My-Ft2.
