Due to lack of competition, the South Korean boy group Super Junior had an easy game. Their ninth album in ten years, 'Devil', makes a big jump from no.17 to the summit in its second week at retail. It sold 85.000 copies in East-Asia last week. The best selling album from the western hemisphere was the new effort by the American heavy metal act Lamb Of God. 'VII: Sturm Und Drang' rockets to the vice position globally with 80.000 sales, 47.000 of it in the USA alone, each 6.000 in United Kingdom and Germany. With only a few hundred copies behind ranks Dream Come True's 'The Best! Watashi No Dorikamu' at no.3. After three weeks on the tally the album sold a total of 544.000 copies. American singer / model / actress Jill Scott bows at no.4 with her fifth studio album 'Woman' and 63.000 sales. The two best selling albums of 2015 (so far) are still in the Top 10: Ed Sheeran's 'X' climbs back from no.7 to no.5 with another 55.000 sales, a total of 6.370.000 since its release, 2.884.000 of it this year alone. Taylor Swift's '1989' rises one slot at no.7 with 47.000 sales, a total of 7.875.000, 3.256.000 in 2015. The third biggest seller this year, Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour' placed at no.12 this week with 36.000 sales, a total of 5.474.000 units so far, 2.595.000 in 2015. It's a little bit strange, it's August but all biggest seller of the year are still from 2014. Some additional sales stats: 'Before This World' by James Taylor sold 14.000 copies last week and reaches a total of 302.000 so far, 'Stages' by Josh Groban sold 12.000 units last week, 655.000 so far, 'Smoke+Mirrors' by Imagine Dragons sold 11.000 units last week and has a total of 878.000 copies so far, 'Chaos And The Calm' by James Bay sold 602.000 copies so far, 'Montevallo' by Sam Hunt 743.000, and 'Four' by One Direction 2.785.000.

Taiyô Knock' by Nogizaka 46, Japanese girlie group, is the new no.1 globally, after massive sales with more than 600.000 singles. The Australian teenie sensation 5 Seconds Of Summer land their first Global Top 10 success, 'She's Kinda Hot' arrives at no.10 with 151.000 points. In the shadow of Fetty Wrap's first big smash 'Trap Queen' (this week at no.21 after 18 weeks on the tally), his follow-up 'My Way', a collaboration with Remy Boyz' RGF Productions' member Monty, makes a big jump at no.17 with 129.000 points. Outside our weekly Top 40 waiting among other Lost Frequencies feat. Janieck Devy's 'Reality' at no.42, Nicky Jam feat. Enrique Iglesias' 'El Perdón' at no.45, Feder feat. Lyse's 'Goodbye' at no.52, and Pitbull feat. Chris Brown's 'Fun' at no.58 for their first appearance on the big list.

Felix Jaehn's remix of 'Cheerleader' by Jamaican singer Omi reigns a third consecutive week with 326.000 points. 'Lean On' by Major Lazer feat. Mø & DJ Snake remains on the vice position with 249.000 points. 'Can't Feel My Face' by The Weeknd reaches a new peak at no.3 with 246.000 points. The only big change in the Top 10 is the new smash by Japanese pop / dance / electronic / R&B formation Sandaime J Soul Brothers. 'Summer Madness' shoots at no.6 with 198.000 points. Outside our weekly Top 40 waiting among other Feder feat. Lyse's 'Goodbye' at no.52, Nicky Jam & Enrique Iglesias' 'El Perdón' at no.54 and David Zowie's 'House Every Weekend' at no.55 for their first appearance on the big list.

After Hey! Say! Jump a fortnight ago and Kis-My-Ft2 last week, a third Japanese act in a row reigns the Global Album Chart. The pop / new wave / R&B band Dreams Come True released their seventh compilation, 'The Best! Watashi No Dorikamu' found 344.000 buyers in its initial week, according to Oricon. It's the only album this week with more than 100.000 sales globally. On the vice-position arrive the British newcomer Years & Years. Driven by the hits 'King' (was no.18 in May) and 'Shine' (this week new at no.35), their debut album 'Communion' moves at no.2 with 92.000 sales. On the next place follows Tyrese Darnell Gibson. The Grammy-nominated R&B singer is also songwriter, actor, author, television producer, fashion model and MTV VJ... an allround-talent. He's seventh studio album 'Black Rose' tops the current US-Billboard Charts with 83.200 pure sales and starts at no.3 globally. Koichi Domoto, one half of Japanese pop duo Kinki Kids, bows at no.4 with his fourth solo studio album 'Spiral' and 71.000 sales, according to Oricon. Fifth highest debut of the week comes from the Berlin based rap band K.I.Z., the new effort 'Hurra Die Welt Geht Unter' is their first no.1 in Germany and Switzerland. On the global hitlist it placed at no.6 with 63.000 sales. Three all-time classics re-enter the Top 40. Fleetwood Mac's 'The Very Best Of' compilation from 2002 jumps at no.30 with 20.000 sales. The band's biggest success was the album 'Rumours' from 1977. It sold around 33 million copies to date and holds no.11 on the ALL TIME CHART. Exactly one place behind at no.12 with also nearly 33 million sales so far ranks the legendary 'Legend' album by Bob Marley & The Wailers. From time to time the reggae classic find it way back to the Global Top 40. Last year in the week 38 for example it reached no.11 with 47.000 sales in a lonely week, on the current tally it turns back at no.38 with 16.000 sales. Finally 'Back To Black' by Amy Winehouse is back on the hitlist. Driven by a new documentary about her life, the album jumps at no.36 with another 17.000 sales, a total of 14 million since its release 2007. Some additional sales stats: 'Rebel Heart' by Madonna sold 6.000 copies last week and reaches a total of 773.000 so far, 'Four' by One Direction sold also 6.000 units last week, 2.775.000 so far, 'Smoke + Mirrors' by Imagine Dragons sold 13.000 units last week and has a total of 857.000 copies so far, 'V' by Maroon 5 sold 2.005.000 copies so far, 'X' by Ed Sheeran 6.261.000, and '1989' by Taylor Swift 7.775.000.
