The Album has also debuted at #2 in Canada and America on the Billboard 200, at #3 on the UK official chart and at #5 in Germany and Switzerland! It's the British rock band's first album of new material in 13 years since their 2006 studio album 'Endless Wire'. Vocalist Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend recorded their parts on the album separately. The album was preceded by its 1st single, "Ball and Chain", on September 13, 2019, a re-recording of Pete Townshend's solo song "Guantanamo", which was released on his 2015 compilation 'Truancy: The Very Best of Pete Townshend'. "All This Music Must Fade" was released on October 3, 2019 and "I Don't Wanna Get Wise" was released in November 2019. "Got Nothing to Prove", one of the Deluxe edition bonus tracks, was initially recorded as a demo in 1966, but was not used due to lack of emotional resonance in the lyrics. "Sand" another early demo from 1966 is included on the Japan edition of the album as a bonus track. The album will be supported by the Who's 'Moving On!' Tour.

EXO's comeback Album, 'Obsession' lands at #1 on the Global Album chart this week with equivalent sales of 441.000! Released on Nov 27, the Album went straight to #1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album chart and also debuted at #1 on the Gaon weekly album chart! The album features 10 tracks in various genres, including the powerful and catchy title song, "Obsession"! EXO began their career in 2012, becoming famous with their "MAMA EP", and since then, every title song and album has been a mega hit! “Growl" won the World Music Awards in 2014 for the World's Best Song, voted online by the public! 2015’s “Love Me Right” was also a massive success, cementing their stardom in Asia. With 'Obsession' they end the year and the decade on top!

EXO and X-EXO battle it out in 'Obsession' which features 6 of the regular members including Suho, Chen, Sehun, Chanyeol, Baekhyun and Kai, with DO and Xiumin on military leave and Lay in China concentrating on his solo career. Each member finally explores their identities as individuals beyond EXO, after years of focusing solely on the collective well-being. But even with the focus on themselves, the group remains the focal point of EXO’s identity. “We came together, got very close, and without the passion that we had as a group I don’t think we would have made it as far as we have come,” Baekhyun told Billboard in a recent interview. Kai says he’s a workaholic, and Chanyeol says his competitive nature is almost an obsession. Baekhyun is obsessed with games, and Kai jokes that Sehun is obsessed with alcohol! Chanyeol loves EXO’s music and was proud to share: “When it comes to our music, I’m 100% confident that we release quality music,” adding: “It’s almost like we’re not following trends but we don’t fall back behind either.” He and Sehun took a completely new direction this summer, forming a Duo called EXP SC and releasing the very successful EP 'What a Life' in July which also debuted at #1 on the Worldwide iTunes album chart, the Gaon album chart in Korea and the global album chart. “Chanyeol says it was completely different from what EXO typically releases and a dramatic challenge which in the end turned out a winner! Chen says all the songs on 'Obsession' are worth the listen with his personal favorite being “Groove.” “I feel that there is a tendency that people just listen to the title track, but it would be really great if people can listen to the whole album because every song is really great.”

EXO are moving into a new era of their career, but they express a desire to always remain as one. “I hope that EXO is able to continue just the way it does right now, but beyond the group I hope that each individual member is able to find his own happiness,” Baekhyun says who also released a hugely successful solo mini album called 'City Lights' in July, which topped the worldwide iTunes Album chart, the Gaon album chart in Korea and the global album chart! Kai with Baekhyun, is also part of the hugely successful new group SuperM whose debut album, 'SuperM'

not only topped the global album chart but also landed at #1 on the Billboard 200, selling 168.000 equivalent units and breaking the record for the only Korean debut album to hit #1 in America. Kai said, contemplating on the next decade: “As time passes, like our members, our fans are going to start pursuing their own lives as well." adding: "As they fall into their own lives, when they suddenly have a thought of EXO, I hope that one thought that comes to their mind is, ‘It was a really good memory being their fan.’” Baekhyun agrees and hopes "whether individually or as a group, we continue to promote and that the name of EXO can continue to grow.”
