Coldplay's 8th studio album, 'Everyday Life', lands at #1 on the Global Album chart with 1st week sales of 212.000 which includes 81.000 from the UK according to the official chart, 48.000 from the US according to Nielsen/Soundscan and 21.000 from France according to the SNEP. 

 

Korean Superstar IU lands at #2 with her chart topping 'Love Poem' and 1st week sales of 145.000! The album debuted at #1 on the Gaon album chart in Korea!

 

The soundtrack to 'Frozen II', the sequel to the hugely successful Walt Disney movie 'Frozen' six years ago, shoots 16- 3 this week with equivalent sales of 128.000. 'Frozen 1' sold a massive 9,5 million equivalent units to date and is the most successful soundtrack of the current decade!

Tones And I's "Dance Monkey" scores a 6th consecutive week atop the Global Track Chart! "Dance Monkey" was released on May 10, 2019 as the 2nd Single from Tones And I's debut EP 'The Kids Are Coming'. The Song has broken the all time record for most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles chart in Australia! Tones was the biggest Winner at this week’s ARIA Awards in Australia, taking home 4 major prizes. The former busker from Byron Bay has topped the weekly charts in 30 countries including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Scotland, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and Ukraine! Canadian Superstar Celine Dion returns to #1 on the global album chart with her 12th English-language studio Album 'Courage' and 254,000 equivalent sales, 113,000 of it from the United States and 55,000 from her native Canada according to Billboard / Nielsen Soundscan. Celine sold another 23,000 units in France according to SNEP, and 19,000 in United Kingdom, according to Official charts. Celine's last English-language LP, 'Loved Me Back To Life' debuted in 2013 at #2 globally with 253,000 album sales, outsold by Eminem's 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2', which debuted that week with 1,221,000 sales! Celine Dion's ''Let's Talk About Love' (1997) and 'Falling Into You' (1996) have each sold over 30 million units!


New entry at #2 for Ringo Sheena, Japanese singer, songwriter and ex-member of the rock band Tokyo Jihen, with her greatest hits compilation 'Newton No Ringo: Hajimete No Best Ban' and sales of 110,000 according to Oricon!
