Not only did Miley get her first no.1 Single as 'Wrecking Ball' tops the US Charts, she is also no.1 on iTunes. no.1 on Spotify. no.1 on Streaming, no.1 on Digital songs and no.1 on VEVO!

The days when album sales were the purest measure of a pop star's success are gone forever. Singles charts are getting the numbers.

Haters may mock Miley's raunchy performance on MTV or her nakedness in the "Wrecking Ball" video, but whatever she's doing, it's working – After "Wrecking Ball" landed 19.3 million Vevo views in one day last week, the song sold 477,000 downloads, and went from no.10 to no.1 on Billboard's Digital Songs chart. In fact "Wrecking Ball," which is Miley's second single off her upcoming album, "BANGERZ," is no.1 in the US and no.2 in the World's best-selling Singles Chart thanks to her music video for the track which has been already seen by 121,564,597 in just 9 days!

Miley took the No.1 spot on the Billboard 100 for the first time, as her past successes have peaked at No. 2. The former "Hannah Montana" star's first entry in the top five was her 2009 jam "The Climb," which hit No. 2, followed by the smash hit "Party in the U.S.A." which rose to No. 2, and finally, her controversial party anthem "We Can't Stop" which took No. 2 earlier this summer.

Miley's fourth studio album, hyped to hit stores on Oct. 8, is followed on the Hot 100 in America this week by Katy Perry's "Roar" at No. 2, Lorde's "Royals" at No. 3, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" at No. 4, and Avicii's "Wake Me Up!" at No. 5.

Katy Perry is once again N°1 for a fourth non-consecutive week.

The biggest surprise of the week is the huge jump of Miley Cyrus' new smash "Wrecking Ball". A fortnight ago it was at N°12 then last week it slid to N°23. After the release of the official video,  "Wrecking Ball" shot to N°2 globally.

Close behind at N°3 is Avicii's "Wake Me Up!", Robin Thicke feat. T.I. & Pharell Williams' "Blurred Lines" slides to N°4 and Lady GaGa's "Applause" slips to N°5.

Drake enters the top 10 at N°8 with "Hold On, We're going Home". The highest debut on this week's best-selling Singles chart at N°22 is Coldplay's "Atlas" from the upcoming soundtrack "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire". "Animals" by the 17 year-old Dutch DJ Martin Garrix debuts at N°33 and Tsuyoshi Domoto from the J-pop duo Kinki Kids enters the World's Top 40 at N°34 with "Matataki". Flo Rida feat. Pitbull's "Can't Believe It" is at N°43, Stromae's "Papaoutai" at N°52 and Jason DeRulo's "Talk Dirty" debuts at  N°57.

"AM" is the World's Best-selling Album this week!

"AM", the fifth studio Album of Arctic Monkeys, debuts at N°1 in this weeks Album charts after selling a total of 303.000 copies worldwide.

Arctic Monkeys are an english indie Rock Band formed in 2002 in High Green, Sheffield. The band consists of Alex Turner (Lead vocals, lead/rhythm guitar), Jamie Cook (rhythm/lead guitar), NIck O'Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Matt Helders (drums, backing vocals).

Alex Turner and Co just made Official UK Albums Chart History with "AM", released by Domino Records, becoming the band's fifth consecutive Number One and the first Indie-released Act to achieve such a feat. According to the latest sales data, "AM" sold over 157,300 copies this week in the UK alone. The tally makes "AM" the second fastest selling Album of 2013, just behind Daft Punk's "Random Access Memories" which sold 165,000 on its release back in May. The band's debut album, "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What Im not" became the fastest selling debut album in UK chart history, selling 363,735 copies in the first week and spawning 2 n°1 Singles.

In the US, "AM" sold 42.300 copies this first week, just 2,000 short of the band's best ever sales week in the States, back in 2007,  when "Favourite Worst Nightmare" was released and became their first Top 10 hit. Arctic Monkeys' fourth Album "Suck It And See" peaked at N°14 in the US upon its release in 2011, while their debut Album "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" reached N°24 in 2006. That Album gave them their biggest-selling Single there when it reached N°6 in 2006. The Band's third Album "Humbug" reached N°15 in 2009.

Artic Monkeys are regarded as one of the most prominent Bands to be part of the post-punk revival in the UK, and have won 5 Brit Awards winning Best British Group twice and were nominated for 2 Grammy Awards.

Katy Perry, whose single "Roar" is N°1 worldwide, took to Twitter to announce the release of "Dark Horse" on iTunes, tweeting to her more than 42 million followers, "Here she is!!! DARK HORSE ft. @therealjuicyj PREORDER PRISM. ENJOY (and thanks for waiting)."

The song, a mid-tempo hip-hop-infused track featuring Memphis, Tennessee rapper Juicy J, is a departure from Katy's "Roar" and previous pop releases. A preview of the song is available on iTunes, where fans can download it instantly when preordering her new album.

The song's lyrical content references a callout to a lover who doesn't know what is about to come his way, with Katy singing, "So you wanna play with magic / Boy you should know what you're falling for / Baby do you dare to do this / 'Cause I'm coming at you like a dark horse."

Katy called upon her fans to select the song as one of several "Prism" preview tracks, rather than as an official follow up single to "Roar."
