Katy Perry's "Roar" is top of the World's best-selling Singles chart for the 10th week and joins Robin Thicke who was up till this week the only artist to stay at N°1 for ten whole  weeks in 2013 with his global hit  "Blurred Lines" featuring T.I. & Pharrell Williams. 

New Zealand Phenomenon Lorde is close behind at No.2 due to her sales in America, Canada, UK and Italy where "Royals" tops the charts. Avicii's 'Wake Me Up!' slips to No.3  even though it is still the overall No°1 single in Europe. Miley Cyrus stays at No.4 with "Wrecking Ball" and OneRepublic rise from No.6 to 5 with "Counting Stars". Lady GaGa feat. R.Kelly's "Do What You Want'" is this week's highest gainer opening at No.6 in this week's best-seling singles chart and at No.1 on the Itunes chart in nearly every major market.

Drake remains at No.7 with his smash hit "Hold On We're going Home" feat. Majid Jordan. No move for Lady Gaga's dance hit "Applause" which stays at No.8.  Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis enters this week's Top 10  with "The Fox" climbing from No.14 to No.9 and closing this week's Top 10 is Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" featuring T.I. and Pharrell Williams.

New entry at No.15 for Justin Bieber with "Hold Tight". J-pop duo Kinki Kids debut their 33rd single "Mada Namida Ni Naranai Kanashimi" at No.1 in Japan and at No.16 in the World Chart. Kinki Kids hold the Guinness World Record for having the most consecutive No.1 singles! All of their 33 Singles released have gone to No.1 in Japan!

Taylor Swift debuts at No.21 with her new single "Sweeter Than Fiction". Other new entries include J-Pop Act Nana Mizuki & T.M. Revolution with "Kakumei Dualism" at No.22, Tyga feat. Justin Bieber's "Wait For A MInute" at No.29, James Arthur's "You're Nobody 'Till Somebody Loves You" at No.30, Korean Act K. Will's "You Don't Know Love" at No. 35, Japanese Popstar Kana Nishino's "Sayonara" at No. 37, K-Pop's Park Ji Yoon feat. San E at No.38 with "Mr Lee" and Katy Perry's new Single "Unconditionally" which debuts at No.39!

Bruno Mars closes this weeks Top 40 with his world hit "Treasure" after 23 week's on the World chart.

Japanese idol group Arashi's new album "Love" is the world's best-selling album selling  670.000 copies in its first week at retail, according to Oricon. Sales have already exceeded those of B'Z's greatest hits Album "B'z The Best XXV 1988-1998" which debuted at No.1 after selling 579,000 copies. "Love" is the Japanese Album which sold the most in 2013 in its first week! "Love" is Arashi's 11th consecutive chart-toppng album. The only other Japanese act to have topped the Album ranking for 11 consecutive years is the Group Exile!

Katy Perry's new Album "Prism" debuts at No.2 with sales of 453.000, of which 285.000 in the USA, 53.000 in United Kingdom, 31.000 in Canada, nearly 20.000 in Germany, 15.200 in France and 14.600 in Japan. Katy Perry's album "Teenage Dream" also debuted at No.2 in August 2010, shifting 239.000 units, overtaken only by the J-pop group Kobukuro in the world's best-selling Album chart.

Behind "Prism" at No.3, but far behind in sales, is James Blunt's new Album  "Moon Landing" which debuts with sales of 129.000. His debut album "Back To Bedlam" from 2004, has sold 12,5 million copies to date.

Last week's No.1, "Juke Box" by Kanjani 8, slips to No.27, selling just 26.000 units after its amazing first week.

Pearl Jam's "Lightning Bolt" slips from No.2 to 4 in its second week on the chart and Miley Cyrus' "Bangerz" is at No.5 in its third week with 93.000 in sales.

This weeks Greatest Gainer is Imagine Dragon's "NIght visions" with sales of 30.000. The Album has already sold over 2.5 million copies.

New entry this week for British Rock Band Motörhead and their 21st studio Album "Aftershock" at No.13 with sales of 41.000.

Japanese Rocker  Kanzuyoshi Saito scores big with two new entries: "Saito" at No.18 with sales of  32.000 and "Kanzuyoshi" at No.22 with sales of 29.000. At No.19 is AFI's burial which also shifted 32.000 copies in its first week at retail.

X Factor American Girl Group Fifth Harmony enter at No.23 with "Better Together" and sales of 28.000. DJ Khaled debuts at No.25 with his new Project  "Suffering from Success" and sales of 27.000.

And from Continental Europe, new entries include Italian Crooner Andrea Bocelli who debuts at No.28 with "Love In Portofino" and sales of 25.000.

German Rock Band Unholy Ground are a new entry at No.29 with sales of 25.000 for their new Smash Album "Sunrise Avenue" which is already a hit in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

French Rapper Kaaris enters the chart at No.37 with "Or Noir" and sales of 20.000.

R & B Girl Group TLC are back after an 8 year hiatus with a new album called "20" at No.36 this week and sales of 19.000.

Eminem JUST released his highly anticipated single Monster with Rihanna and we can't get enough of it!! Eminem and Rihanna have crossed paths many times before, including the 11-time platinum single "Love The Way You Lie" in 2010, and now the duo are back at it once again to give us their latest collaboration "The Monster". "The Monster" will be appearing on Eminem's upcoming eighth studio album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2".

'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' is set to arrive in stores on November 5th. The standard edition of the album will include 16 tracks while those who buy the deluxe bundle on Eminem's website will receive an extra 5 tracks. Unless you didn't know, Yuna is an amazing Malaysian-born singer-songwriter about to take the world by storm!

Yuna's most anticipated second American album "Nocturnal" is out this week. The Album is a collaboration with the famous DJ Chad Hugo from The Neptunes and Robin Hannibal from the LA based Indie Duo Rhye.

Yuna's meteoric rise on the Malaysian indie music scene was largely due to the strong following she gained when she joined Myspace in 2006. In 2008, she released the single "Deeper Conversation" off her first Album which became a huge hit. Yuna comes from a strong jazz folk influence but when she moved to America 3 years ago, she learned how to mix R&B, hip-hop and Pop and started working with world famous Producers like Pharrell Williams who produced her single "Live Your Life" in January 2012. 

On April 24, 2012, Yuna's U.S. debut self-titled Album was released and debuted at No.23 on the Pop chart and No.86 on the Top 100 Albums on iTunes. Accolades from fans and critics alike, such as Billboard, NPR, Elle, NY Times, Vibe, Allure, Seventeen, MTV Style, Marie Claire and National Geographic all raved about her because her sound is “fresh, honest and deeply personal." She has toured with Graffiti6 and performed at Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. She also contributed to the Savages soundtrack on the track, "Here Comes the Sun". In 2012, Yuna was recognized with a National Youth Icon Award, awarded by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, for her exceptional achievements in arts.
